# رابط برنامه‌نویسی کاربردی (fa/API)

یکی از شاخص‌های موفقیت برای TCP و برنامه‌هایی که از آن استفاده می‌کنند، کانالِ رابط برنامه‌نویسی استاندارد شده‌ است. کانال رابط برنامه‌نویسی از قابلیت خوبی برخوردار است و با استفاده از این رابط برنامه‌نویسی می‌توانید برنامه‌ها را بین سیستم عامل‌های مختلف جا‌به‌جا کنید همانگونه که TCP کار می‌کند.

پروتکل QUIC به آنجا نرسیده است. هیچ رابط برنامه‌نویسی استانداردی برای QUIC وجود ندارد.

با QUIC، شما لازم است یکی از کتابخانه‌های پیاده‌سازی شده‌ی موجود را انتخاب کنید و با رابط برنامه‌نویسی آن بمانید. این باعث می‌شود نرم‌افزار‌ها تا حدی بر روی یک کتابخانه "قفل" شوند. تغییر کتابخانه‌ به معنای تغییر رابط برنامه‌نویسی خواهد بود و بنا بر این می‌تواند مستلزم زحمت‌های فراوان باشد.

همچنین، از آنجا که QUIC بطور معمول در فضای کاربر پیاده سازی شده است، نمی‌تواند به همین سادگی کانال رابط برنامه‌نویسی را بسط دهد یا مانند عملکرد TCP و UDP موجود ظاهر شود. استفاده از QUIC به معنای استفاده از رابط برنامه‌نویسی دیگری است تا کانال رابط برنامه‌نویسی.
